It was an interesting day in my scrap room. This is the first time I've painted a room. I was all by myself with no experience. And, we have tall ceilings in all the rooms so it's not completely finished yet. This is all I have so far. When I leaned for my "initial" pose, I had leaned a little too far and got wet paint on me.

Some advice from an "old" pro(?):
Remove the switch and outlet plates and tape the switches and outlets themselves. You may change the plates some day and you'll want the paint under to match - and those things shift too.
Also - invest in a canvas drop cloth - you'll be SO glad! It's much easier to walk on, move around and just deal with in general! (Get a nice big one - you'll use it a bunch as you paint over the years.)
