Desperation

My mom and I had purchased a carton of Ben & Jerry's Half Baked Ice Cream. When we went to get it out of the freezer and serve it, I could barely dent it with the scoop.
My mom had the best idea!Miracle Blade.

Update

I will be finishing my scrap room tomorrow. I will post more pictures on Friday evening. I will also have some more pix of the house itself. I need to get them from my parents camera. Well right now, I am off to take a car load of stuff to my house and then go register for gifts.

Well it looks like I will be officially moving in at the end of them month. That's about the time my parents are moving and it just seemed to make more sense to not use both houses' utilities! So I am in a mad rush to get everything packed and over to the house because they are trying to get pictures taken so they can get up on the MLS site for the house. I don't want to hold up that process seeing as the house is probably going to take a little bit to sell. So, if you know anyone that wants to buy a house in Deep Creek, this is their dream house! Anyway, it's time to go to bed! I'll blog it up later! I promise soon, I will have pictures of the whole house! G'nite

Painting

It was an interesting day in my scrap room. This is the first time I've painted a room. I was all by myself with no experience. And, we have tall ceilings in all the rooms so it's not completely finished yet. This is all I have so far. When I leaned for my "initial" pose, I had leaned a little too far and got wet paint on me.

Sara's wish came true!

Well Sara...you wanted them so bad, it just so happens that I DID have some of these pictures but I refrained from posting them. The one of Berkley is the first time he used that bathroom..."since the house has been "ours." . And if you can't see, I was holding my knees! Off to pack my car to the brim and take a load to the house! (Got my paint supplies! one step closer!)

Finally

These are the "firsts" that I took yesterday. We received the keys to our house about 3:15pm on Friday, June 29, 2007! We are HOMEOWNERS! I have attached a few pictures.

Thoght we'd be busy all morning packing and unpacking into our new house. But we've been to breakfast and back and we're just waiting for our realtor to call us and tell us to go pick up our keys! We don't want to load the truck cuz it looks like it might rain, so we are just sitting. Good new is, my new Memory Makers came today and now I have time to look at it. (thought I wouldn't have a chance) Well on that note, I'm going to go read! Tata
