Bloggy Catchup!

So sorry that I've been unbloggin for awhile. I have been busy. Since I last put an "event" on the blog, I've had 2 wedding showers...got a promotion at work...started a marriage...went on an interesting cruise...and hosted Christmas (including having guests stay here). Here is the last two months in review. If you would like to see more pictures, leave me a comment with your email (if I don't have it) and I will be more than happy to send you the links from my Snapfish account.
Shower in Connecticut from Berkley's extended family. August 2007 (I don't currently have pix of the Church shower on the computer just yet)

Right to left: Melissa (friend), Michaela (princess), Toni (sister), Me ("queen" according to Michaela), Berkley (Groom), Steven (Berk's cousin), Natalie (Steven's daughter), Jacob (princess' brother), James (friend of Groom), Zachary (other brother to princess).
Beautiful weather leaving Port Canaveral for Honeymoon!
Our original destination was the BAHAMAS!!! There was a hurricane (Noel) in that location so they rerouted us to KEY WEST!!! No me gusta! It was boring, so we hung out on the boat that day and enjoyed the break from motion (there were 12 - 15 foot swells everyday we were on the boat). Check out my hair...it was windy!

Our first Christmas Tree. My first real Christmas Tree. It was quite the experience.
My nephews: Brody and Hooper. Brody is a Mini Pin Pin and Hooper is a Weiner dog! They are fun!

WOW

Wow, so much has happened since my last blog. There was the wedding party hosted by Lucinda at the church on October 7. The wedding on October 27, and the honeymoon the week after that. I'm only going to put up a few pictures as I have over 1000 pics of Oct26 and Oct27 from three different sources. I'd be loading pictures for the rest of my life if I put them all on here. I'm off to organize the party blog.

Cousin Wookie's Wedding

Berkley and I flew up to Michigan over last weekend for my dad's cousin's wedding. Keep in mind that these are Michigan rednecks. Michigan rednecks are different than Florida rednecks. I don't need to explain, you will see for yourself. Don (the groom) is in the WHITE TUX!!!

They only had two people stand with them. My dad and the groom's sister in law.

These were all the "Stracks" that were at the wedding. So we had to get a picture.

From left to right: Todd (Uncle Tim's oldest), Uncle Paul (Gradma's youngest), Grandma, Mom, Me, Dad, Brandon (Uncle Tim's middle), Uncle Tim, and Grandpa!

Dollar dance with the wookie!

I had a birthday!!!

Empty house

Here are the pictures of the house before we closed on it. We snuck my parents into the house because we had the code to the lock box. So here are pix of all the rooms.

This is my kitchen counter. It fills up with "stuff" very quickly as there is not much countertop space.

The fridge was not yet installed but it is now right behind me and the pantry is at the upper left corner of the picture.

This is the Family Room. To the very left, you will see our one and only sliding glass door. The window looks into the back yard and into the neighbor's lot (their house is behind ours and to the left, they own the lots directly behind us and to our left). Our tv is going in the corner between the windows.

This is the Guest Bathroom. Not very big, but big enough to take care of business!!! ;-)

This is the taken from the Family Room looking toward the breakfast nook area. The entry way is to the right, behind Berkley and Mom. The kitchen is more to the right (not shown in picture). Through the archway, you can see into my (still boring white) Scrap Room (a.k.a The Scrap Yard).

This is in the Master Bath. The shower and turlet are in a little seperate room (with a door). Sorry about the seat being up...boys!
(must have been the worker guys, we hadn't closed on the house yet).

Here is a picture of the Master Bath and in the reflection you can see the door to the turlet room. From left to right, the doorways are closet (the door is open), turlet room (door behind me), and then linen closet. To the right of the sinks is the bathtub in the corner.
